Responsibilities
Provide urgent care services, including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures.
Triage incoming cases and manage patient flow efficiently.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients during urgent situations.
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and operational workflows.
Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and support staff.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture during the hospital’s transition and growth.
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active (or eligible) Mississippi veterinary license.
DEA license and USDA accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in urgent care or general practice.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for building and growing a new service.
Open to both experienced veterinarians and confident early-career candidates.
