Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality urgent care services for canine and feline patients

  • Manage a varied caseload including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhoea cases, minor illnesses, injuries, and euthanasia appointments

  • Deliver compassionate, relationship-based care to patients and clients

  • Collaborate effectively with veterinary colleagues, leadership, and support staff

  • Build strong relationships within the practice and the wider Orlando veterinary community

  • Support the professional development of veterinary team members through internal training programmes

  • Manage appointments and surgical cases appropriate to an urgent care setting during scheduled hours

  • Maintain excellent standards of clinical care and client communication

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a confident and compassionate veterinarian who enjoys urgent care medicine and values a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Applicants should have:

  • A DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE programme

  • An active veterinary licence in good standing in Florida, or the ability to obtain one

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • A passion for small animal medicine and delivering exceptional patient care

  • The ability to work independently while benefiting from a supportive clinical team
