Responsibilities
Provide high-quality urgent care for canine and feline patients
Manage common urgent cases including:
Wound care and minor injuries
Ear infections
Vomiting and diarrhoea
End-of-life and euthanasia services
Deliver relationship-based care to clients and pets
Work collaboratively with a skilled technical and support team
Maintain accurate medical records using digital systems
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment
Support development of paraprofessional staff through internal training initiatives
Engage with the local community and build client relationships
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident and compassionate veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced, problem-focused medicine.
They will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification
Eligibility for licensure in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical decision-making skills in urgent care settings
A collaborative and supportive approach to team-based care
Excellent communication and client interaction skills
Comfort managing a varied urgent care caseload independently
