A veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinarian in Apopka, Florida, to join a collaborative small animal team delivering comprehensive, personalised companion animal care.
The role offers a base salary of $120,000–$150,000, depending on the agreed schedule, plus 22% ProSal bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with flexibility around working hours. The preferred schedule aligns with practice hours of 8:00 AM–5:30 PM Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM.
This position would suit an experienced veterinarian who enjoys general practice while developing clinical interests in dentistry, surgery and ultrasound. The practice also incorporates both Eastern and Western approaches to medicine, supporting a broader, holistic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventative, medical and wellness care for dogs and cats.
Perform physical examinations and develop individualised healthcare plans.
Diagnose and treat a broad range of small animal medical conditions.
Develop preventative care and vaccination protocols tailored to individual patients.
Perform routine soft tissue surgery and dental procedures according to experience.
Educate clients on treatment options, nutrition and preventative healthcare.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with pet owners through clear and compassionate communication.
Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support staff.
Maintain accurate medical records and high clinical standards.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative and learning-focused practice culture.
Continue developing clinical skills in areas such as dentistry, surgery and diagnostic imaging.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree and be licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practise veterinary medicine in Florida.
The practice is ideally seeking a veterinarian with 2+ years of clinical experience and a strong commitment to continued professional growth.
An interest in dentistry, surgery and ultrasound would be particularly valuable.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgement, attention to detail and the ability to communicate medical information clearly and compassionately with pet owners.
Candidates should enjoy working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support teams while remaining receptive to feedback and continued learning.
A proactive approach to preventative medicine and client education is also important.
