Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive examinations and develop treatment plans for companion animals
Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions and injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory and imaging results
Perform routine surgical procedures and prescribe medications as appropriate
Educate clients on preventative healthcare, wellness programmes, and treatment options
Provide compassionate guidance regarding quality-of-life and end-of-life care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Uphold veterinary ethics, regulatory compliance, and clinical best practices
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed in Massachusetts or eligible for veterinary licensure in the state
Eligible to obtain DEA registration
Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Passion for client relationships and community-focused veterinary care
Collaborative, proactive, and team-oriented approach
Desire to contribute to a growing and evolving practice
