Responsibilities
Provide high-quality preventative, diagnostic, medical and surgical care to small animal patients.
Diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate individualised treatment plans.

Participate in urgent care cases according to experience and clinical confidence.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options and ongoing care recommendations.
Educate pet owners on preventative healthcare and long-term animal wellbeing.
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and other clinical support professionals.
Utilise additional specialty expertise when appropriate for complex cases.
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high clinical and professional standards.
Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree and be licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practise veterinary medicine in New York.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality small animal medicine.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues are important.
An interest in urgent care, ophthalmology or developing additional clinical skills would be beneficial, although previous advanced experience is not essential.
