About the Practice
This progressive urgent care practice provides after-hours veterinary services for companion animals, bridging the gap between daytime general practice and emergency hospitals.
The hospital focuses solely on urgent medical cases, allowing veterinarians to concentrate on diagnosing and treating non-life-threatening conditions in an efficient, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
As a Veterinarian, you will:
Diagnose and treat a variety of urgent canine and feline medical conditions.
Manage cases including wound care, ear infections, vomiting, diarrhoea, minor injuries, and humane euthanasia.
Develop treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, technicians, and hospital leadership.
Support the development of veterinary support staff.
Deliver compassionate, relationship-focused patient and client care.
Contribute to a collaborative and positive hospital culture.
Please note: This role focuses exclusively on urgent care medicine with no routine wellness appointments and no abdominal surgeries required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE programme.
Active veterinary licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Confidence managing urgent medical cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.
A compassionate, team-oriented approach to veterinary medicine.
A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care using Fear Free handling techniques.
