Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality urgent care and emergency veterinary services

  • Manage and stabilise urgent and critical cases

  • Provide leadership support as Lead DVM / Medical Director (as applicable)

  • Oversee clinical standards, protocols, and case management quality

  • Mentor and support veterinary and clinical support staff

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to support operational and clinical goals

  • Communicate effectively with clients in high-pressure situations

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records

  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused clinical culture

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent)

  • Active or eligible New Hampshire veterinary licence

  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine strongly preferred

  • Previous leadership experience or readiness for a Lead DVM / Medical Director role

  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments

  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach to veterinary care

  • DEA licence and additional certifications preferred but not required
