Location: Somerset, Massachusetts
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000+ DOE
Bonus Opportunities: Production bonus with no negative accrual
Sign-On/Retention/Relocation Support: Up to $75,000

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations

  • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions in small animals

  • Develop treatment plans and provide preventive healthcare recommendations

  • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures

  • Educate clients on treatment options and ongoing pet care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

  • Prescribe medications and ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations

  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff

  • Participate in case discussions, hospital initiatives, and continuing education opportunities

  • Help maintain high standards of patient care and client service

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

  • Active Massachusetts veterinary license, or ability to obtain one

  • DEA registration or ability to obtain

  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills

  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities

  • A collaborative approach to patient care

  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine

  • Desire to contribute positively to a team-oriented culture
