An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal hospital in Somerset, Massachusetts. Location: Somerset, Massachusetts
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000+ DOE
Bonus Opportunities: Production bonus with no negative accrual
Sign-On/Retention/Relocation Support: Up to $75,000

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions in small animals
Develop treatment plans and provide preventive healthcare recommendations
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Educate clients on treatment options and ongoing pet care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Prescribe medications and ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
Participate in case discussions, hospital initiatives, and continuing education opportunities
Help maintain high standards of patient care and client service
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Active Massachusetts veterinary license, or ability to obtain one
DEA registration or ability to obtain
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills
Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities
A collaborative approach to patient care
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
Desire to contribute positively to a team-oriented culture
Both experienced veterinarians and motivated early-career veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
