Responsibilities
Provide advanced cardiology consultations, diagnostics, and treatment recommendations.
Manage complex cardiovascular cases for small animal patients.
Perform cardiac evaluations and interpret diagnostic findings.
Collaborate with emergency veterinarians, specialists, technicians, and referring veterinarians.
Communicate medical conditions, treatment options, and recommendations clearly with pet owners.
Develop comprehensive patient care plans using evidence-based medicine.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical collaboration.
Support ongoing learning, mentorship, and advancement of veterinary cardiology services.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Board certification or residency training in Veterinary Cardiology.
A current licence to practise veterinary medicine in California.
