Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will play a key role within the specialist team, providing advanced diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of cardiac conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing referral cardiology consultations and advanced cardiac cases
Performing echocardiography and other cardiology diagnostic procedures
Collaborating with specialists across multiple disciplines
Supporting emergency and critical care teams with cardiac case management
Participating in clinical rounds and multidisciplinary case discussions
Mentoring interns, veterinary students, and clinical team members
Contributing to continuing education initiatives and professional development programmes
Participating in clinically relevant research projects where desired
Maintaining accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Candidate Profile

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution
