Responsibilities
Establish and develop cardiology services within the hospital
Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions
Perform and interpret advanced cardiac diagnostics (e.g., echocardiography)
Collaborate with emergency clinicians, surgeons, and internists
Provide consultative support for complex referral cases
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and referring veterinarians
Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning
Support hospital growth in cardiology equipment and service development
Participate in clinical mentoring and knowledge sharing where appropriate
Candidate Profile
Board-certified Veterinary Cardiologist (ACVIM Diplomate) or residency-trained, eligible for boards
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts
Strong diagnostic and clinical cardiology expertise
Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary referral environment
