Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex ICU and critical care cases

  • Provide advanced stabilisation and treatment for critically ill patients

  • Collaborate closely with emergency clinicians and specialty services

  • Develop and oversee ICU treatment plans and protocols

  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rounds

  • Support teaching and mentorship of interns, residents, and clinical staff

  • Ensure high standards of patient monitoring and critical care delivery

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and referring veterinarians

  • Contribute to hospital-wide clinical quality and improvement initiatives

  • Work across Buzzards Bay and Dennis locations as needed

Candidate Profile

  • Board-certified Veterinary Criticalist (ACVECC Diplomate) or residency-trained/board-eligible

  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts
