This is a large, multi-specialty emergency and referral hospital system serving Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts, with locations in Buzzards Bay and Dennis.
The hospital currently provides advanced specialty services including emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, exotics, anesthesiology, and diagnostic imaging, with further expansion into additional specialties such as dentistry, ophthalmology, and neurology.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of veterinary dental and oral conditions
Perform advanced dental procedures and oral surgery cases
Help establish clinical workflows and protocols for a new dentistry service
Collaborate with specialists and emergency clinicians on complex cases
Support intern, resident, and veterinary team education
Contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and case discussions
Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and client communication
Assist in developing equipment, service scope, and departmental growth strategy
Promote a collaborative and supportive clinical environment
Candidate Profile
Board-certified Veterinary Dentist (AVDC Diplomate) or residency-trained, eligible for certification by 2027
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts
Strong clinical background in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery
