This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian with 3–5+ years of clinical experience who is ready to step into a leadership position overseeing medical standards, mentoring associate veterinarians, and shaping hospital culture. The Medical Director will also maintain an active clinical caseload while driving team development, operational excellence, and patient care standards.
This is a key leadership role offering influence over both clinical direction and hospital performance, with strong support from a wider veterinary network.

Facilities include a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, in-house diagnostic laboratory, multiparameter monitoring systems, on-site pharmacy, and spacious treatment and exam areas.

Responsibilities
Provide and oversee high-quality medical and surgical care for companion animals
Lead, mentor, and support associate veterinarians and clinical staff
Establish and maintain medical standards, protocols, and best practices
Monitor and improve hospital performance and clinical outcomes
Collaborate with leadership on financial performance and operational planning
Conduct regular team meetings and support ongoing professional development
Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
Handle escalated clinical, client, and operational concerns where required
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of veterinary talent
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible to practice in Georgia
Minimum 3–5+ years of clinical veterinary experience
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Demonstrated leadership ability or readiness for a Medical Director role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making, organisational, and team leadership capabilities
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ranging from $150,000 to $190,000 + production bonuses (no negative accrual option available)
