Salary: $165,000 – $175,000 base salary + quarterly production bonus + annual Medical Director stipend
Potential First-Year Compensation: $200,000+
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm & Saturday 8:00am–2:00pm

This established small animal veterinary practice serves the Thornton, Denver, and Broomfield communities, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care.

Responsibilities
As Medical Director Veterinarian, responsibilities will include:
Lead clinical initiatives and support continuous improvement within the hospital.
Partner with practice leadership to develop strategies that enhance patient care and client experience.
Mentor and support veterinarians and hospital team members.
Promote a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and medical excellence.
Provide high-quality small animal veterinary care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgery.
Maintain clinical standards and support best practices across the hospital.
Encourage ongoing education, mentorship, and team development.
Build strong relationships with clients and the local community.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification.
Eligibility for a Colorado veterinary licence in good standing.
An active DEA licence or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous leadership experience as a Medical Director, Lead Veterinarian, or senior Associate Veterinarian is preferred.
Strong communication, mentoring, and team-building skills.
A passion for advancing veterinary medicine and supporting colleagues.
