An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse Team Leader seeking a senior veterinary nurse job in Nottingham within a purpose-driven and supportive clinical environment.

Facilities include in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, orthopaedic equipment, and separate dog and cat wards.

Responsibilities
Leading and supporting a team of Veterinary Nurses and Care Assistants
Assisting the Head Nurse in day-to-day clinical and operational management
Delivering high-quality nursing care across theatre, inpatient, and consulting duties
Coordinating workflow and rota efficiency within the hospital
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, equipment, and clinical governance
Supporting client communication and promoting preventative healthcare services
Coaching and mentoring team members, providing feedback and development support
Deputising for the Head Nurse when required
Candidate Profile
Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Previous experience in a senior or leadership role (desirable)
Strong clinical skills across theatre, inpatient care, and consults
Confident in team leadership, coaching, and mentoring
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, team-oriented approach
Passionate about delivering high standards of patient and client care
Compensation & Benefits
£31,000 – £34,000 salary
Full-time, fixed-term contract
