Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will:

  • Provide advanced surgical consultations and procedures for referral patients

  • Develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans

  • Communicate surgical recommendations clearly with clients and referring veterinarians

  • Mentor veterinary professionals and contribute to clinical education

  • Participate in continuing education and clinical development initiatives

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification

  • Active veterinary licence in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in New Mexico

  • Active DEA licence or eligibility to obtain DEA registration

  • Board Certification in Veterinary Surgery or completion of a surgical residency programme

  • Strong surgical expertise and advanced clinical judgement

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and high-quality patient care
