About the Role

They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in surgery to join their state-of-the-art Barnsley clinic. The role involves delivering high-quality preventive care, treating sick and injured pets, and supporting a collaborative, customer-focused team.

The position is a 39-hour week, with a 1:4 weekend rota, providing a manageable work-life balance while offering exposure to a varied caseload, including exotic and imaging cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care across medical and surgical cases

  • Deliver preventive healthcare and treatment for sick and injured pets

  • Collaborate effectively with clinical and non-clinical team members

  • Participate in mentoring, CPD, and skills development initiatives

  • Support a positive clinic culture, client relationships, and patient wellbeing

Candidate Profile

  • Fully qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant experience

  • Interest in surgical procedures and confident handling of complex cases

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to delivering compassionate, high-standard patient care

  • Motivated to engage with CPD and ongoing professional development

Compensation & Benefits
