About the Role
They are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy 24/7 hospital in Bolton, Greater Manchester. The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied caseload, delivering both first-opinion and referral care. This position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their skills alongside advanced practitioners in both medicine and surgery.
The schedule is a 40-hour week, with a 4-day working week and 2:9 weekend rota, offering excellent work-life balance.

8 consulting rooms
3 theatres
Dedicated X-ray and dental suite
On-site CT scanner
Separate dog and cat wards and a specialised ICU

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality veterinary care across a diverse caseload of medical and surgical cases
Perform weekly orthopaedic procedures on site
Collaborate with certificate holders and advanced practitioners
Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture
Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold practice standards
Candidate Profile
Fully qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant experience
Strong surgical and medical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Enthusiastic about continuous professional development and learning
Committed to delivering high standards of patient care in a collaborative environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
