About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a flexible and supportive small animal practice in Bramley, Leeds. This role offers a salary of up to £70,000 (DOE) plus a £5,000 welcome/relocation bonus, alongside excellent clinical development opportunities and genuine work-life balance.

This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with highly flexible working patterns designed to fit around commitments outside of work, including school hours, caring responsibilities, and wellbeing needs. This is a well-established standalone small animal practice located in the heart of Bramley, Leeds, offering a strong local presence and a loyal client base. Situated within a historic building with excellent access and ample parking, the practice combines character with modern veterinary care.

The practice is preparing for an exciting refurbishment, which will further enhance facilities and provide excellent clinical space and equipment to support high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality consultations and routine surgical procedures

  • Manage medical and surgical cases to a high clinical standard

  • Support the continued growth and development of the practice

  • Build strong client relationships through excellent communication

  • Work confidently in both team-based and occasional sole charge settings

  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal GP experience

  • Confident in routine surgery and consultations

  • Comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care

  • Keen to develop clinical interests and shape long-term career progression
