This is a large, well-established small animal practice based in London with excellent transport links and convenient onsite parking, making commuting simple and accessible.
The practice has recently undergone significant refurbishment and expansion, creating a modern and spacious clinical environment with multiple consultation rooms, dedicated cat and dog wards, dual operating theatres, and excellent staff facilities. They also offer advanced services including laparoscopic spays and endoscopy, providing strong clinical variety and opportunities for development.
They are supported by a large, experienced, and highly collaborative team of veterinary surgeons, RVNs, student nurses, VCAs, and a dedicated reception team. Daily clinical discussions and knowledge sharing are central to their culture, with several certificate holders already within the team across surgery, medicine, and ophthalmology.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care across consultations and surgery
Perform routine surgical and medical cases confidently
Take part in some sole charge responsibilities when required
Collaborate with the wider clinical team on case discussions and patient management
Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold excellent clinical standards
Support and contribute to a positive, learning-focused team culture
Develop clinical skills further through ongoing CPD and training opportunities
Candidate Profile
Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
Previous small animal GP experience
Comfortable with routine surgery and medicine
Confident with occasional sole charge responsibilities
Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
An interest in further development, including certificates, would be highly welcomed
