This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least three years’ UK small animal experience who enjoys working up cases, managing a varied first-opinion caseload and building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
The position provides a genuine 50/50 split between consultations and surgery, allowing you to develop your clinical interests while working alongside an experienced team in a modern, well-equipped practice.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality first-opinion veterinary care.
Manage consultations, diagnostics and medical case work-ups.
Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgery where appropriate.
Deliver excellent dentistry and preventative healthcare.
Develop strong relationships with clients and their pets.
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Nurses and the wider clinical team.
Maintain high clinical standards through evidence-based decision-making.
Participate in a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 weekends, consisting of consult-only shifts.
Provide occasional sole charge support during weekend consultations.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
MRCVS registration or eligibility to register.
The right to work in the UK.
A minimum of three years’ UK small animal practice experience.
Confidence managing consultations, diagnostics and routine surgery.
A collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork.
Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
An interest in internal medicine would be welcomed but is not essential.
