About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon in Clevedon seeking flexible, part-time hours (25–30 hours per week) with an excellent work-life balance. This role offers a salary of £45,000 to £65,000 FTE, alongside a supportive team environment and a varied caseload.

This is a well-established, independently owned small animal practice celebrating over a decade of service within the local community. The practice operates from a modern, purpose-built facility designed to industry-leading standards.
They benefit from excellent natural light and a spacious layout, including multiple consult rooms, a dedicated theatre, prep area, separate cat and dog wards, an isolation unit, and comfortable staff facilities.
The team is experienced, sociable, and highly collaborative. They actively encourage the development of nursing skills, including the utilisation of Schedule 3 procedures. The practice also works alongside visiting specialists, enabling exposure to a wide range of interesting and complex cases.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality clinical care to a varied small animal caseload
Conduct consultations and surgical procedures to a high standard
Work confidently in sole charge when required
Collaborate effectively with the wider clinical team
Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold best practice standards
Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to a positive client experience
Candidate Profile
Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
Solid experience in general practice
Comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive team player with a passion for delivering exceptional care
Keen to contribute to a supportive and progressive clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 FTE (DOE)
Holiday: 5.6 weeks, increasing to 6.6 weeks with service
