Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal
Location: Epsom / Leatherhead, Surrey
Schedule: Full Time or Part Time (4-day week, light Saturday rota)
Salary: Up to £80,000+ per year DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) to join a progressive, independent, vet-led practice, covering the Epsom and Leatherhead area.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in driving the growth and development of a thriving practice, working with a loyal and returning client base. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for patient care, contributing to both consultations and surgical work.

The practice operates across multiple well-established sites, supported by an experienced management team, RVNs, and support staff. Facilities are modern and continually evolving, with investment available to support high standards of care and clinical development.
As part of a forward-thinking independent veterinary group, the wider network includes numerous certificate holders across disciplines such as soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, oncology, and exotics, providing excellent support for case discussion and progression.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care across a varied small animal caseload
Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and routine surgical procedures
Contribute to the growth and development of the practice
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and wider clinical network
Build strong client relationships and provide excellent communication
Candidate Profile
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Experience in general practice (all levels considered)
Confident in routine surgery and medical case management
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Motivated to pursue clinical progression and development
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Up to £80,000+ DOE
Full Time or Part Time options available
4-day working week for excellent work-life balance
Light Saturday rota with no out-of-hours or on-call requirements
£2,000 CPD allowance or certificate funding available
