About the Role
They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years of GP experience, ideally with a special interest in dentistry, to join a modern, purpose-built clinic in Rotherham.
The role involves delivering preventive care, treating sick and injured pets, and working collaboratively with a supportive clinical and non-clinical team. It is a 39-hour week, providing exposure to a varied caseload across medical, surgical, and dental cases.
About the Practice
The clinic is a state-of-the-art facility, designed to support excellent patient care and team development:
9 consultation rooms and 4 operating theatres
1 dental suite and ultrasound suite
CT scanning suite with a 128-slice CT scanner
Separate dog and cat wards and prep areas
Supportive team culture with colleagues working towards certificates to enhance clinical services

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality veterinary care across medical, surgical, and dental cases
Deliver preventive healthcare and treatment for sick and injured pets
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Participate in CPD, mentoring, and skills development initiatives
Support a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
Candidate Profile
Fully qualified Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years GP experience
Special interest in dentistry preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Committed to delivering compassionate, high-standard patient care
Motivated to learn, develop, and contribute to a collaborative environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE
39-hour week
