Responsibilities
Provide high-quality first opinion veterinary care to small animal patients
Manage a varied medical and surgical caseload
Conduct consultations and routine procedures
Perform diagnostic investigations and develop appropriate treatment plans
Deliver high standards of surgical and medical care
Build positive and lasting relationships with clients
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Nurses and the wider practice team
Share clinical knowledge and support colleagues where appropriate
Maintain accurate clinical records and professional standards
Participate in ongoing CPD and professional development
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon who is committed to providing excellent patient care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Applicants should have:
RCVS registration and experience in small animal practice
Confidence managing medical and surgical cases
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and client care abilities
A commitment to continuous learning and development
A collaborative, supportive approach to teamwork
The ability to work with clinical autonomy and manage a varied caseload
Experienced Veterinary Surgeons will be able to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the wider team while continuing to develop their own clinical interests.
