​Veterinary Surgeon – St Helens, Merseyside

About the Role

They are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a new clinic in St Helens, Merseyside. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload, primarily consisting of sick and injured pets, while applying and expanding your skills in a supportive environment.

The role is a 38-hour week, with a 4-day working week and 2:9 Saturday rota, providing a strong work-life balance.

About the Practice

The new clinic is designed with both patients and teams in mind, featuring:

  • 6 consulting rooms

  • 2 fully equipped theatres

  • Dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray

  • Diagnostics suite including ultrasound and digital X-ray

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality veterinary care across medical and surgical cases

Candidate Profile

  • Fully qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant experience

  • Confident in medical and surgical procedures

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
