Responsibilities
Provide high-quality first-opinion veterinary care to small animal patients.
Conduct thorough medical and surgical consultations.
Perform routine surgical procedures confidently.
Support and undertake surgical cases, including appropriate orthopaedic procedures.
Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets.
Utilise diagnostic equipment to support high-quality clinical decision-making.
Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary and support team.
Contribute to the continued development of clinical standards within the practice.
Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of patient welfare.
Develop individual clinical interests through CPD and further study.
Participate in ongoing practice improvement and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1–2 years' clinical experience, although the emphasis will be on overall clinical ability and suitability for the team.
Strong surgical experience is particularly desirable, making this an excellent opportunity for a vet who wants to further develop their surgical caseload.
Candidates should have:
Confidence managing routine medical and surgical cases.
Strong surgical skills and an interest in developing further.
