About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinary Surgeon in Teynham, Kent, to join an experienced, stable and collaborative small animal team.
The role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of UK veterinary experience who is confident with routine surgery and ideally has an interest in small animal medicine.
You will work alongside two experienced Veterinary Surgeons within a supportive team environment, providing excellent opportunities to build confidence, expand your clinical skills and develop your career.

About the Practice
The practice is a busy small animal surgery in Teynham, Kent, with a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
Facilities include two consulting rooms, reception, preparation room, theatre, dog kennels and a dedicated recovery room, alongside a range of modern clinical equipment.
The team is continuing to expand its facilities and clinical capabilities, providing scope for Veterinary Surgeons to develop their skills and interests.
You will be supported by highly trained nursing and support teams, as well as experienced Veterinary Surgeons who are committed to sharing knowledge and encouraging professional development.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality first-opinion small animal veterinary care.
Conduct thorough consultations and clinical examinations.
Manage a varied medical and surgical caseload.
Perform routine surgical procedures confidently.
Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
Work up medical cases to a high standard.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options.
Maintain accurate clinical records.
Work collaboratively with experienced Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs and support colleagues.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient welfare and clinical care.
Participate in CPD and develop areas of clinical interest.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of UK small animal experience who:
Holds current RCVS registration.
Is confident managing routine medical and surgical cases.
Has an interest in small animal medicine.
Is comfortable performing routine surgery.
Has strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues.
Enjoys collaborative working within an experienced team.
Is enthusiastic about professional development.
Wants to build a long-term career within a supportive independent practice.
