About the Role
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in Wallington, Surrey, joining a modern and supportive first opinion practice with a strong focus on clinical development, teamwork and high-quality patient care.
This permanent, full-time Veterinary Surgeon role would suit a clinician with at least 2 years' small animal experience who is confident managing a varied caseload and is comfortable with both routine and emergency surgical procedures.
The successful candidate will provide primary care consultations, manage inpatient cases, undertake medical work-ups and perform surgery, while also supporting cases transferred from member practices.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality primary care to small animal patients.
Conduct routine and emergency consultations.
Manage cases transferred from other practices.
Provide inpatient care and ongoing patient monitoring.
Undertake thorough medical work-ups and diagnostic investigations.
Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures.
Develop appropriate treatment plans and communicate these clearly to clients.
Build strong and trusted relationships with pet owners.
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Nurses and the wider support team.
Contribute to clinical discussions and knowledge sharing.
Maintain high standards of patient welfare and clinical governance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon, preferably with 2+ years' clinical experience.
They should demonstrate:
Strong medical knowledge and clinical decision-making skills.
Confidence managing both routine and emergency surgical cases.
Experience working with varied first opinion caseloads.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and client-care skills.
A genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care.
