About the Practice
This is a well-established and recently refurbished small animal practice with a strong reputation for delivering excellent patient care and maintaining a supportive, collaborative working environment.
The veterinary team includes highly experienced clinicians ranging from 5 to over 20 years post-qualification experience, with expertise across orthopaedics, internal medicine, cardiology, and regenerative medicine, providing excellent opportunities for case discussion, mentorship, and clinical development.
The vets work alongside a highly skilled nursing team of 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including nurses with advanced Schedule 3 qualifications, as well as an experienced front-of-house team. This strong team structure allows clinicians to fully utilise their skills while ensuring the day-to-day running of the practice is smooth and efficient.
With a loyal client base and a high percentage of insured pets, the practice is able to work cases up thoroughly and maintain strong continuity of care, creating an excellent clinical environment for both development and job satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality consultations and case management
Perform routine surgery and medical work-ups to a high clinical standard
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and nursing teams
Provide excellent client communication and continuity of care
Support junior colleagues where appropriate and contribute to team development
Maintain high standards of patient welfare and clinical excellence
Candidate Profile
Qualified Veterinary Surgeon at any stage of career progression
