Oregon licensing for veterinarians
To practice in Oregon, veterinarians must be licensed by the Oregon Veterinary Medical Examining Board (OVMEB). The standard route includes:
Graduate from an AVMA-accredited DVM/VMD program or complete ECFVG/PAVE certification.
Pass the NAVLE within five attempts.
Pass the Oregon veterinary jurisprudence examination.
Complete the OVMEB application and background verification.
Renew your license with continuing education requirements.
