Board-Certified Specialist $185,000–$320,000 based on specialty and case volume.
Medical Director $185,000–$250,000 plus bonuses or equity opportunities.

Washington licensing for veterinarians
To practice in Washington, veterinarians must be licensed by the Washington State Veterinary Board of Governors, under the Department of Health. The standard route includes:
Graduate from an AVMA-accredited DVM/VMD program or complete ECFVG/PAVE certification.
Pass the NAVLE within five attempts.
Pass the Washington veterinary jurisprudence examination.
Complete the Department of Health application and background verification.
Renew your license with continuing education requirements.
