Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical exams and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals
Develop treatment plans and provide preventive healthcare recommendations
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures as needed
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options and care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and patient care
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Alaska
Strong commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Passion for continued professional development and lifelong learning
