Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals

  • Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed

  • Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results

  • Advise clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and end-of-life care

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, state regulations, and clinic policies

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • Licensed or eligible for Minnesota veterinary licensure

  • Ability to obtain DEA/BNDD registration

  • Strong communication and client-centered approach

  • Team-oriented, professional, and committed to continuous growth

  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs; with assistance for heavier patients
