About the Practice
This full-service companion animal hospital provides comprehensive care across all life stages, including wellness, surgery, dentistry, cardiology support, in-house diagnostics, and dietary counseling. The practice is fully equipped with modern medical and surgical facilities, including advanced hospitalization and isolation capabilities.
Veterinarians are supported by a skilled technical team, allowing for efficient workflows and a strong sense of partnership throughout the day. Clients are highly engaged and invested in delivering excellent outcomes for their pets.
Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose illness and injury
Develop and deliver thorough diagnostic and treatment plans
Perform medical and surgical procedures as appropriate
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results
Advise clients on preventative care and long-term health management
Prescribe medications and oversee patient follow-up care
Provide compassionate end-of-life guidance and support
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and protocols
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
Candidate Profile
DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, client-focused approach to medicine
Confidence in general practice medicine and surgery
Interest in mentorship and collaborative practice environments
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $115,000 – $140,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
