The Opportunity
An established independent mixed practice in North Yorkshire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in small animal, equine, or a combination of both. This is a genuinely flexible role, with hours and caseload tailored around the right candidate.
The practice has a strong local reputation for providing personalised, high-quality care and offers a varied caseload across both companion animal and equine work.
The Role
This position offers a mix of consulting, surgery, diagnostics, and ambulatory work depending on your clinical interests. Equine work includes routine and emergency ambulatory services, while small animal work covers first-opinion consultations and procedures.
The practice encourages clinical autonomy while maintaining strong team collaboration, making it suitable for both experienced vets and those looking to broaden their mixed-practice exposure.
The Practice
You will be joining a well-established independent practice with experienced clinical staff and a supportive team environment. The practice provides both small animal and equine services, including 24-hour emergency cover, and is known locally for its continuity of care and strong client relationships.
