This AAHA-accredited hospital group operates across two nearby locations and is staffed by a team of six veterinarians working collaboratively to deliver comprehensive small animal care.

The practice offers a wide range of services including preventive medicine, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics. Facilities are equipped with digital full-body and dental radiology, endoscopy, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory diagnostics, enabling veterinarians to practice modern, high-quality medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, and treatment

  • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures

  • Develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with pet owners

  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care

  • Collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university

  • Active veterinary license in Iowa, or ability to obtain prior to start

  • DEA license preferred, but not required

  • USDA accreditation preferred, but not required

  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach

  • Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning and high-quality care
