A well-established small animal veterinary practice in Bondurant, IA, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor team. This AAHA-accredited hospital group operates across two nearby locations and is staffed by a team of six veterinarians working collaboratively to deliver comprehensive small animal care.
The practice offers a wide range of services including preventive medicine, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics. Facilities are equipped with digital full-body and dental radiology, endoscopy, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory diagnostics, enabling veterinarians to practice modern, high-quality medicine.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, and treatment
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with pet owners
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care
Collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences
Participate in continuing education and professional development initiatives
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university
Active veterinary license in Iowa, or ability to obtain prior to start
DEA license preferred, but not required
USDA accreditation preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach
