This established small animal general practice provides comprehensive veterinary services seven days a week to support the needs of a busy urban client base. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals
Develop treatment plans and provide preventative healthcare services
Perform routine surgical procedures and dentistry when appropriate
Utilize diagnostic tools including laboratory testing and imaging technologies
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment plans and patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and medical practice
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university
Eligible for veterinary licensure in New York
DEA license preferred or ability to obtain
USDA accreditation preferred but not required
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Collaborative and compassionate approach to veterinary care
Interest in general medicine and surgery
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 annually (based on experience)
