Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage illnesses or injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect and interpret samples
Advise pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and treatment options
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed
Provide guidance on end-of-life care for pets
Maintain accurate medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and regulations
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD from an accredited AVMA institution
Valid state licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional, courteous, and collaborative with staff and clients
Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds independently; over 25 pounds with assistance
Adaptable, compassionate, and eager to provide high-quality care
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $115,000–$130,000/year (negotiable based on experience)
