The veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals while collaborating closely with a skilled support team of RVTs and other staff.   • Advanced orthopedic surgery and laser therapy

The hospital features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including digital dental and traditional X-ray units, an in-house laboratory, and dedicated surgical and dental suites. The team is highly collaborative, with experienced DVMs and RVTs providing seamless support for anesthesia, dentals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and advanced exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, and dental procedures

  • Collaborate with RVTs and support staff to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care

  • Educate clients on pet wellness, preventive care, and treatment options

  • Maintain accurate digital medical records

  • Advise pet owners on end-of-life care and ethical treatment

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, policies, and ethical standards

Candidate Profile

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution

  • Licensed to practice in Ohio or eligible to obtain licensure

  • Eligible for DEA/BNDD registration

  • Skilled in general small-animal medicine, surgery, and client communication

  • Values teamwork, mentorship, and collaboration with support staff

  • Committed to high-quality care and client education

Compensation & Benefits
