Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical exams and diagnostic workups
Develop and implement treatment plans
Perform surgical and dental procedures
Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment options
Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on operational priorities
Participate in training, protocol updates, and hospital management initiatives
Support teamwork, staff efficiency, and high standards of patient care
Candidate Profile
DVM degree from an accredited college or university
Active Michigan veterinary license
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of veterinary practice experience preferred
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed
