About the Practice
This full-service companion animal hospital is known for delivering high-quality medical care supported by excellent facilities and a strong operational structure. The practice features separate wellness and sick patient areas, isolation capabilities, and a layout designed to support efficient patient flow.
The hospital is fully equipped with multiple exam rooms, a dedicated surgery and dental suite, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. Veterinarians are supported by a large, skilled technical team, with dedicated technician pairing to ensure consistent assistance throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose illness and injury
Perform medical and surgical procedures, including urgent care cases
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory and imaging results
Provide preventative care guidance and treatment planning
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care
Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and client communication
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and protocols
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleagues
Interest in fast-paced general practice medicine
Surgical interest welcomed but not required

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $115,000 – $140,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
