Responsibilities
Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their animals
Examine, diagnose, and treat small and large animal patients
Lead patient care from consultation through treatment and follow-up
Perform surgical procedures and urgent care as appropriate
Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly and compassionately
Collaborate with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Uphold veterinary ethics and applicable regulations
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
Active or eligible for Alabama veterinary licensure
Interest or experience in mixed animal practice
Strong commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medicine
Collaborative, team-oriented approach
