About the Role
We seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join a fast-paced, high-quality small animal practice in Deltona, FL. This role offers a Monday–Saturday schedule with no on-call or overnight shifts, providing an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to deliver compassionate, advanced care to dogs and cats.
Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced veterinarian, you’ll receive dedicated mentorship and work alongside a supportive, collaborative team in a fun and professional environment.
About the Practice
This companion animal practice is focused on excellent patient care and client service, handling both advanced general practice and complex urgent care cases.
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including:
Ultrasound
In-house laboratories
Therapeutic lasers
Dental X-rays
Located between Orlando and Daytona Beach, the practice offers easy access to beaches, theme parks, and local attractions, within a growing, vibrant community with outdoor activities, shopping, and dining.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality small animal medicine and surgery
Collaborate with colleagues and specialty networks for complex cases
Build strong relationships with clients and patients through empathy and trust
Mentor and teach support staff in a team-oriented environment
Maintain the highest standards of veterinary ethics and care
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Florida
Passionate about pet care and delivering world-class medicine
Collaborative, empathetic, and committed to lifelong learning
Enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and credentials (Base salary ranging from $115,000 to $135,000)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8 AM–6 PM, Saturday 9 AM–4 PM
