About the Role
A progressive small animal general practice in Doral, Florida is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (GP DVM/VMD) to join a growing, forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about client education, wellness medicine, and shaping the future of general practice.
This is more than a traditional GP position. You’ll have the opportunity to help build innovative wellness programs, manage a varied caseload that includes general practice and select urgent care, and actively influence how medicine is delivered as the hospital continues to grow.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality general practice medicine, including wellness, preventive, and sick-patient care
See a varied caseload, including select urgent care cases
Develop and expand wellness-focused programs (puppy, geriatric, preventive care plans)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to integrate therapy and rehabilitation into GP care
Serve as a leader in client education, creating personalized care plans and recommendations
Contribute to scheduling, workflow optimization, and hospital growth initiatives
Participate in mentorship and future leadership opportunities as the practice expands
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Florida
Interest in small animal general practice with urgent care exposure
Passion for preventive care, wellness medicine, and client communication
Personable, collaborative, and team-oriented
Forward-thinking mindset with interest in program development and growth
