Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical exams and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals
Develop and implement treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care
Perform routine and advanced medical procedures as needed
Provide preventive care including vaccinations, wellness exams, and client education
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment options and ongoing care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
Uphold AAHA standards and veterinary ethical guidelines
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Alaska
Strong commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Competitive base salary with monthly production bonus (no negative accrual) (ranging from $125,000 to $165,000)
