Associate Veterinarian – Fayetteville, NC
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice. This role is perfect for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who want to provide high-quality care while enjoying a supportive, collaborative work environment. Schedule consists of: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Tuesdays off; surgery on Thursdays).

About the Practice
Join a modern, well-equipped veterinary hospital serving a loyal client base. The hospital features:
4 exam rooms, a surgery room, dental room, grooming, and boarding facilities
CryoPen, ultrasound, dental x-ray, and upcoming therapeutic laser
Orthopedic and specialty surgeries with support from visiting specialists
Patient-focused care with an average of 15 patients per doctor per day
Supportive staff including 2-3 assistants per doctor and 1 RVT
The practice emphasizes communication, feedback, and team celebrations, fostering a positive, family-oriented culture. Staff are equipped to provide care to all clients, including Spanish-speaking individuals and those requiring ASL interpreters.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals
Educate clients on preventative health care and responsible pet ownership
Collaborate with skilled support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Participate in mentorship, team development, and hospital initiatives
Maintain accurate medical records and deliver exceptional client communication
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in North Carolina
Passion for small animal medicine and client education
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Open to mentorship (new graduates) or collaborative practice (experienced veterinarians)
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary (based on experience). Salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000
