Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to small animal patients
Diagnose and manage a wide variety of routine, urgent, and wellness cases
Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners
Triage and manage urgent care cases as needed
Maintain accurate medical records using SOAP-style documentation
Promote preventive care, wellness plans, and long-term health strategies
Collaborate effectively with technicians, assistants, and support staff
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
Strong communication and client-education skills
Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented
Confident in clinical decision-making with a desire to continue learning and growing
